Today we would like to introduce you to another classic from our range of CBD flowers : Purple Haze ! The THC-containing ancestor of this popular strain became known in the 1970s and was already characterized by a great aroma and many trichromes. In addition to the beautiful look and the great taste, you benefit from all the advantages that the valuable cannabidiol has to offer.

Description

The visually appealing strain with the fruity aroma is a cross between a Thai Haze and a Dutch Skunk. The flowers have no seeds and are the product of an indoor production that focuses on quality rather than quantity. They therefore constantly undermine quality controls so that we can only offer you the best of the best.

Cultivation and processing

Like all of our CBD flowers, Purple Haze comes from indoor production in Austria. There the flowers are grown under lamps and lovingly harvested by hand. They are then dried and then sent directly to us. The use of toxic herbicides and pesticides is of course also out of the question. This complex production process guarantees you a very high-quality product that does not contain any dangerous substances and can be described as “100% natural”. This is also the best way for the wonderful aromas to develop.

Furthermore, our Purple Haze flowers benefit from short delivery routes and are always fresh. Of course, we also check this regularly. If the CBD flowers do not meet our strict requirements, they will not even be sold in our online shops or stores. Please also read the following blog post: Quality products from Bonorum

Look

With Purple Haze the name says it all. The buds are medium sized and feature a rich olive green color. This is repeatedly interspersed with fine light brown and purple accents. A particularly attractive look!

What's also immediately noticeable about our Purple Haze flowers is the many trichromes that are found throughout. These are the glands in which only the best of the plant (including cannabinoids and terpenes) is produced. If you lightly squeeze the flowers, a fine white and cloudy film will remain on your fingers. This rather rare quality feature once again shows the exceptional character of our Purple Haze flowers.

Aroma and experience

But it's not just the color and the pollen-covered exterior that make this variety something very special. Their intense aroma and experience will also convince you. Because the first thing you will notice about Purple Haze CBD flowers is their strong smell of ripe and fresh fruits . There is also an earthy and bitter aroma. This combination ensures a very pleasant experience with a slightly spicy and sweet aftertaste.

Properties and ingredients

Thanks to controlled cultivation, our Purple Haze has a high content of valuable cannabinoids, including CBD and CBG. At the same time, the plants were bred so that the THC content is below 0.2%. This means you are completely on the safe side, because it corresponds to the legally specified limit.

Of course, artificial terpenes are completely avoided.

History of the Purple Haze strain

Our best-seller Purple Haze has its origins in the THC-containing version of the same name, which is one of the Haze varieties . Anyone who knows what they're talking about will of course know that these are one of the best-known varieties in the world. Despite the great popularity and cult status that Haze now has, its origins are controversial.

The most common story , which is also considered the most likely, is this: The Haze Brothers and their friend Sam “The Skunkman” created the strain and the latter then made it popular in Europe . It all started in the 1970s in Santa Cruz, California. At that time, consumption was limited to varieties from South American countries such as Panama or Colombia. Marijuana from Jamaica and Mexico was also popular.

At some point the Haze Brothers, who already had experience in breeding, dared to try something new. In a first step, they crossed a Mexican variety with a Colombian one. They then selected the best female plants that resulted and further crossed them with the male plants of a Thai landrace. All plants are said to be pure sativa varieties. The result of this interesting approach was a new strain now known as “Original Haze”.

It is said to have been further perfected later by Sam “The Skunkman”, although this was not an easy undertaking. Apparently the Haze Brothers' new strain was relatively difficult to domesticate. So it took a while before Sam managed to breed homogeneous offspring. As a result of the initial difficulties and breeding attempts, a few more varieties emerged - and one of them was the well-known Purple Haze, which has now become an integral part of the scene. The Skunkman is said to have brought the new strain to Europe, where it didn't take long for it to become well known.

By the way, many people also associate Purple Haze with the song of the same name by Jimi Hendrix. For many people, the American musician sings quite clearly about how he feels after consuming Purple Haze. Since Hendrix was already known for smoking hashish and taking other drugs, it makes sense to interpret his song in this way. Nevertheless, the musician himself once stated that his song “Purple Haze” had nothing to do with drugs, but was a love song.

No matter where the origins of the cannabis variety actually lie - our breeders are now so good that Purple Haze is also available in a completely legal form.

Effects and benefits of Purple Haze

The flower has a powerful effect and is perfect for quick relaxation. Purple Haze may also be able to help release tension and possibly calm the mind. It therefore makes sense for people who are currently struggling with stressful situations to gain experience with this.

At the same time, Purple Haze can have a stimulating and energizing effect. It has the potential to promote concentration and is even said to stimulate brain activity. But even if you're just looking for a positive emotional boost, this strain with its appealing appearance and fruity aroma is just right for you!
